Quadrennial

So many things in our world only happen every four years.  Summer/Winter Olympics.  A new president is elected.  World Cup.  Total eclipse.  Leap Day.

Today is the day that some people in college have their fourth birthday.  We all have to wait an extra day for our birthdays.  Leap Day is an odd phenomenon, but it is highly entertaining.  People choose to celebrate Leap Day because it is so unique and adds a little spice to life.  I kind of think of Leap Day as a magical day.  All bets are off; all rules can be broken (kind of).

Thank you Disneyland for celebrating Leap Day and staying open 24 hours today.  I wish I could be there to celebrate with you instead of avoiding the dismal wind at home.
